The newly born baby is kept separate from the females. Although its purpose is to keep people safe from evil eyes, The thread binds their necks or hands to avoid fright. I have seen the baby boy keeping the long hair. Parents believe that they ask for “manat.” We are relying on these things.
Believes on Shrines
What are the Customs and beliefs followed in Pakistan? People go into the Shrines and directly ask the pious person for grants. They put money into that box, which the caretaker keeps. Indeed, I saw the people who go there with naked food. I was amazed to see their level of devotion. Food is served at the shrine as well.
The Ceremony of Mehndi
The widow is not included in the list of seven. They can put mehndi, but after seven females who are happy in their lives. This custom of marriage is changing. At once, it was a simple ceremony, but now, things from other cultures are included. The to-be bride and groom sit together, and the dances are performed in front of them.
Barat
This simple custom has relied on the “Nikah.” Meanwhile, the new customs make it complex. The bride’s family has to face it. The families are already bearing the burden of dowry, and now the trend is to give lunch or dinner to broom relatives. The simpler you live, the happier you will feel. The change in a negative way only throws a burden.
Customs and Beliefs in General
If the date of marriage is fixed, the to-be bride is not allowed to go outside of the house. The myth behind this is that it is not good for the bride. The bride has to carry heavy jewelry and dress.
In my opinion, there are better things. At this turning point, one should relax. Unfortunately, our societies look toward the so-called people rather than at comfortable things and ways of life.
The sound of crows on the roof is a sign of guests’ arrival in Asian culture. Basically, people’s moods vary according to the people they meet in the morning. It is easy to blame one’s faults on others’ heads.

It is easy to set a trend but complex for others to act on it. Consequently, every family has its own way of living. We should do the things in ceremonies that are easy for us rather than following the steps of others.
