The hypocritical aspect of Parents is harmful to the moral growth and character building of children. A hypocrite is a double-faced act, someone who is actually different but pretends to do something else. I have seen people who give respect to their children in front of others but, when they are alone, show their actual attitude. The home is the first place where you start learning. Behavior, attitude, and character building are all these basics we get unconsciously from parents.
Behavior of Parents
The way of talking matters a lot, and the relationship depends on the way of conversation. The caretakers behaved nicely in front of other people while using polite words. But once they are alone, they show their real nature. This factor could be better, and it teaches children a double role in a single life. The question arises as to why people behave dually. This is not a quality thing to do. It’s not easy to maintain a fake and accurate image.
Character
Character is a key to getting space in hearts. It includes small things such as truth, honesty, commitment, good communication, and so many other constituents. Temporary behavior makes relations last for a long time because when the attitude shows, people lose respect for you. Although your good attitude molds them to build the relationship, the mark left on their hearts does not heal in life.
Children
Their minds are clean, and the double-faced characters they see imitate them. They also start copying the same behavior. They make double personalities. The good features are for the outside, and the real ones are for the home. Therefore, people say that when you live with someone, you come to know the actual face. The fake face is temporary, but the inner one is permanent and cannot be changed from the outside except if they want to change by themselves.
Conclusion
The hypocritical aspect of Parents not only destroys their personalities but their children too. Is there any need for it? In my opinion, no, people should build good behavior and maintain it. It’s worth it to be an authentic self. Everyone has some bad habits, but it does not mean you create a good version of yourself. If you know about your weaknesses, that’s enough. The person who likes you will accept your bad manners, too. The double role only becomes the cause of tension because the creation of something is complex to some extent, but maintaining it is much more difficult.
Do you agree with my opinion that the true self of a person gives satisfaction?
