The job is easy with recommendations nowadays. Many people have a job mindset. They tried hard to get a job. There are two types of jobs: private and Government. Private jobs are not accessible. They get a lot of work, but the salaries are not so high. Every sector has its rules and regulations that are right for their administration but tough for the workers.
Bank
In the bank, the duration of the job is late at night, which is not accessible for girls in Pakistan. The family did not allow the girls to do the job at the bank because of their late-night timing and security issues. However, it’s a government job. The people prefer Government jobs for three reasons.
- Handsome salary
- No problem with the job expel
- pension
On the other hand, the private sector in Pakistan presents a different scenario. Here, employees often work under the constant threat of job termination. This lack of job security is a stark contrast to the stability offered by a government job.
Teachers
Teachers, the esteemed architects of our nations, often find themselves in a challenging situation in local private schools. Even with a Master’s degree, they earn a modest 15-20 thousand, a figure that does not do justice to their high qualifications.
In colleges, teachers with M Phil and PhD degrees earn a salary of 20-25 thousand. They often take on extra work to make ends meet, which affects not only their job satisfaction but also their standard of living. It’s high time we recognized their contributions and provided them with better pay.
Internship
If someone would like to do an internship, he needs a recommendation. The job is far away. Meanwhile, if you want to do a job at a private or government institute, then you must get a recommendation from a highly authoritative person.
Admission
I am amazed to know that a student gets admission to a university with a reference. He did not give any test or interview. This is how the people get their positions.
Criteria
Every institute follows its criteria and policies according to its consent. Most are subjective, but they should be objective. People wait for job vacancies. When it comes to being selected based on merit, some get selected, while others struggle for references.
Conclusion
The job is easy with recommendations, but what about the ones who need references? Their life goes through a struggle of giving various kinds of tests. Then, they wait for the results of the test after that interview. In the interview, again, reference matters.
If you have a reference, then go ahead, and if not, then keep doing hard work. Everyone did not approach the high personalities, and their lives were going in a circle of tests and interviews. If you could not find a job in Pakistan, then according to Google search results, 450,110 people went abroad for employment till July 2023.
